Make no mistake, the name says it all. Barbie Dream House is a magic house in all ways possible. This is the one thing that is yearned for by girls who own Barbies and who closely follow Barbie. Unfortunately, the dream house is beyond the means of many people who would like to get one for their little girls. Because of this, they get houses that are not quite the same.
Many kids, who don't get their Barbie Dream House, however get creative and build themselves their own Barbie houses. They use materials available in their homes and make do with them. For example, plates are made with soda bottle lids, checkers pieces can serve as pies, cardboard can be used for tables, and they even get their siblings or parents to sew some pieces together to create bed linens and the like.
Those girls who do get the real Barbie houses however, get to choose from different looks. Some of them are multi storied with rooms that can be arranged, some come with utilities like showers, sinks and the like. Others have a doorbell that actually works and they come furnished or unfurnished.
The one drawback like I said is the price, and many people who would want to get their little girls a Barbie Dream House cant. With that said, that doesn't mean that the girls without the house don't enjoy their Barbie to the fullest. They do, and in the process they explore their creative and artistic side.
